Raizer highlighted as an improving welfare technology in a Danish TV program!

20 January 2017

“What is dignified home care in Denmark? Is it good enough as it is?”

Last night, these questions were the focus in the TV program Far from Borgen: How do we get a more dignified elderly care? on Danish Broadcasting Corporation (Thursday d. January 19, 2017).

In the TV program, Denmark’s Minister of Public Innovation, Sophie Løhde, and Pernille Skipper (Red-Green Alliance) visit a nursing home in Kolding, Denmark. They explore different aspects of the nursing home including welfare technology and Raizer is one of the few highlighted technologies.

“I was impressed with how you can get up in that way. I have never tried such a chair – and I have never seen it before,” said Sophie Løhde after trying the Raizer out herself.

Pernille Skipper furthermore says: “The instruction was like a relatively simple IKEA manual so when you have tried it once, I think it’s easy to do it yourself the next time. So, it’s insanely brilliant.”

We are proud that Raizer was highlighted as one of the welfare technologies that are helping to create better and more dignified conditions for both patients and caretakers at Danish nursing homes.
