Operating the EasyLift platform
The EasyLift platform is a so-called "dead man operated" lift, i.e. the push buttons are to be held down for the entire movement.
Platform operation is straightforward; the user activates it using one of the push buttons on the wall or by means of the supplied remote control.
When the user is on the platform it is operated from the side panel, from which the user can choose to be transported to the upper or lower level respectively.
Operating EasyLift on the platform
Three buttons are on the platform – one with an up-arrow, one with a down-arrow, and an emergency stop.
When you are on the platform and wish to ascend to the upper level, press the up button. The ramp or the door(s) will close and the platform will start to move upward. Hold down the button until you have reached the upper level, the platform has come to a stop and the door has fully opened. You can now exit the platform.
When you are on the platform and wish to access the lower level, press and hold the down button. The door(s) will close and the platform will start to move downward. Keep the button pressed until you have reached the ground level, the platform has come to a stop and the ramp/door have fully opened. You can now exit the platform.
Alarm
The lift can be equipped with an alarm button (additional equipment). An alarm button is added to the on-board operating panel. Pressing the alarm button will activate a voltage free relay output for an external alarm (lamp, siren, etc.).
The alarm button can be connected in two ways:
1: The alarm button can be connected to an external alarm. To activate the alarm press and hold the alarm button for 5 seconds.
2: The alarm button can be connected to an intercom system which allows the user to contact external assistance in case of emergency. To activate the alarm press and hold the alarm button for 5 seconds.
Emergency stop
If the platform makes an unintended or undesired movement, or if it must be stopped in order to avoid potential risks, press the EMERGENCY STOP button.
To reset the emergency stop, turn the button clockwise and the system is again ready for use.
Operating EasyLift from the UPPER or LOWER level
Your EasyLift is operated via the two operating panels above and below it, or by using the remote control. The remote control replaces the two button panels.
To call the lift down, hold down the button sited at the lower level or on the remote control with the down arrow until the platform has moved completely down and come to a stop, and the ramp has lowered (and the door has opened, if fitted). Once the ramp has lowered, the user can enter the platform.
To call the lift up, hold down the button sited at the upper level or on the remote control with the up arrow until the platform has moved completely up and come to a stop and the door has opened (if fitted).
Once the door has fully opened, the user can enter the platform.
