Operating the HDN platform
The HDN is a so-called “dead man operated” lifting platform, i.e. the buttons are to be held down for the entire movement.
The platform works simply by the user calling it by pressing one of the buttons on the wall, or by using the remote control.
When the user is on the lifting platform this is operated by the push buttons on the wall or by the remote control, where one can choose to be conveyed to a higher or lower level.
Operating the HDN from the TOP level
In order to call the HDN to the TOP level, press the wheelchair-button sited above the platform.
The lifting platform starts by raising the safety plates, and then it moves up to the top level. Remember to hold the push button the entire time, since the platform will automatically stop when the button is released.
The platform stops automatically when it reaches the top level. Now the user can enter the lifting platform.
Operating the HDN from the BOTTOM level
If the lifting platform is not already at the bottom level, call it as follows:
In order to call the HDN to the BOTTOM level, press the wheelchair-button sited below the platform.
The platform begins to move towards the bottom level. When this level has been reached, the safety plates continue to drive down. When the safety plates are completely down and plane with the floor, the platform automatically stops, and is now ready to enter.
Remember to hold the push button the entire time, since the platform will automatically stop when the button is released.
