Elegant Accessibility at Stationshuset in Malmö
SCROLL
A Solution That Respects the Building’s Character
Stationshuset is a landmark and historic building in the heart of Malmö, where heritage architecture meets modern use. It was therefore essential that the chosen accessibility solution blended seamlessly into its surroundings rather than standing out.
EasyLift – Functionality with an Elegant Design
The solution was EasyLift – an elegant platform lift that combines reliable functionality with minimalist Scandinavian design. EasyLift can be customized in any RAL color, allowing it to complement the existing architecture and materials. At the same time, it requires only minimal building alterations, making it an ideal choice for both historic and contemporary buildings.
For this project, EasyLift was delivered in the same RAL color as the surrounding metal details. The result is an accessibility solution that feels like a natural part of the building rather than an addition.
“The customer requested a stylish, flexible accessibility solution that fits in with the color and surroundings, at Stationshuset in Malmö. My obvious choice to offer the customer was Easylift. With the same RAL color as the other metal details in the surroundings, it blends in and the elevator looks like it belongs in the premises. The result was great.”
Accessibility Without Architectural Compromise
This project demonstrates how EasyLift makes it possible to improve accessibility without compromising architectural aesthetics. With its clean design, flexible customization options, and focus on user comfort and safety, EasyLift creates step-free access while preserving the character of the building.
