My Product EasyLift
Outdoor & weather care
If the lift is installed outdoors or in demanding environments, you should follow these additional tips to protect it from the weather:
-
Snow & ice
Always clear snow, ice, and frost from floor surfaces and from beneath the platform before use. Accumulated snow or ice can block the mechanism or interfere with safety sensors. In winter, you can gently sweep away snow and consider using a cover when the lift is not in use. You may also use Liftup’s de-icer to thaw ice. Never pour salt or chemical de-icing agents directly onto the lift — this can cause corrosion.. -
Rain & debris
After heavy rain or wind, inspect the lift and remove leaves, twigs or excess water. It is recommended to park the lift at the lowest level when not in use outdoors. This allows the platform to cover the opening and prevents objects from falling into the mechanism. If possible, add a canopy or shelter above the lift or the stairs. -
Coastal/chlorine environments
Salt air (coastal areas) or chlorine (pools) can be harsh on the lift. Rinse the lift with fresh water regularly to remove salt residue, and apply protective wax/oil to metal and wood as instructed. Contact Liftup for a special maintenance plan if the lift is placed in an environment with high salt concentration or corrosion risk — more frequent inspections or anti-corrosion treatments may be necessary. (Lifts are typically designed for corrosion class C1–C3, but extra care is recommended in harsher environments.) -
Temperature
The lift is designed to operate within a certain temperature range, but extreme heat or cold can affect its performance. In very cold weather, it may, for example, move more slowly and have reduced lifting capacity, which is normal and protects the mechanics. At very high or very low temperatures, you should be especially attentive, patient, and avoid unnecessary operation. Always keep the lift connected to power so the battery remains charged in cold weather. Consult the manual to see which temperatures the lift operates best under.
A warranty that follows the product.
With the product registration, the owner of a Liftup product will be offered access to a Manufacturer’s General Warranty cover that will guarantee supply of spare parts through an authorized distributor for a period of two years from the date of purchase.
In addition to basic maintenance, lifts require periodic professional servicing to remain safe and compliant with regulations. Liftup recommends the following minimum service intervals.
It is very important to follow these intervals — note that stricter requirements may apply in some countries, so check with your lift installer. Lack of maintenance may void the warranty and shorten the product’s lifespan, so remember to set reminders.
Always use a certified Liftup technician or trained personnel for servicing — they know lifts best and ensure that all functions (such as safety sensors and battery backup) are checked. (Fun fact: Some lifts have an online service log that technicians can access via the QR code on the lift.)

Easy access to online product info and service log
(applies to certain countries only)
Scan the QR code on the lift by using a smarphone, tablet etc. Here you will the logbook for service inspections and product info for exactly your lift
Scan the service log label
The Product info and online service log label gives access to the lift’s online service log and product info such as user manuals, maintenance, upgrades, product registration and more.
Maintaining an up-to-date service log in the vicinity of the lift is, in most countries, a legal requirement. When utilizing the online service log, it is not necessary to maintain a physical, paper-based version.
On EasyLift, the service log label is located on the lower right fender as shown in the image. It is also found in the user manual. The QR code on the label can be scanned using a smartphone or tablet.
All service entries must be completed by the service technician, installer, or relevant regulatory authority following each visit.
The QR code also provides access to the product’s declaration of conformity, which is automatically generated in your language. The declaration contains relevant applicable standards and legislation for the product.
