The museum’s unique setting – with ancient stone walls, narrow corridors, and listed architecture – presented a clear challenge: how to ensure equal access to all parts of the exhibition without compromising the historical integrity of the site. 

The architect needed a space-saving solution that would blend seamlessly into the surroundings – both visually and structurally. This led to the installation of two FlexStep lifts, a platform lift that functions as both a staircase and a lift, making it ideal for environments where space is limited and design matters.
