LISTEN CAREFULLY TO DETERMINE WHETHER IT IS NORMAL OPERATION OR AN ALARM TONE THAT REQUIRES ACTION

Your lift communicates with you through various sounds and alarm tones. Some sounds are part of normal operation, while others warn of a situation that requires attention.

For example, a warning tone may indicate that something is obstructing the lift, that a safety sensor has been activated, or that a technical fault has occurred.

Listen to your lift, find the relevant alarm tone, and follow the instructions below. In many cases, the issue can be resolved quickly and easily.

Warning Messages

Overload
Meaning:
The lift is overloaded, or the weight is unevenly distributed.

Solution:
Reduce the load, or distribute the weight evenly so that the load is shared equally among all four legs.

Battery Fault
Meaning:
The battery has a fault. Insufficient power supply.

Solution:
Troubleshoot the power supply or contact your service technician to have the battery replaced.

Anti-crushing activated
Meaning:
The pressure plates under the lift have been activated. An object may be trapped underneath the lift.

Solution:
Remove the object beneath the lift that is activating the under pan switches and preventing the lift from moving downwards.

Service mode
Meaning:
A program used to configure the lift — intended for trained technicians only — has been activated.

Solution:
Contact your service technician.

Emergency stop activated
Meaning:
The red emergency stop button has been activated.

Solution:
It must be released before the lift can be operated again.

Locked
Meaning:
The lift is locked via an external key switch box
(optional accessory).

Solution:
Unlock the lift using the key switch box.

Battery Low
Meaning:
The battery level is low.

Solution:
Contact your service technician to upgrade Firmware or replace batteries.

Power Supply Disconnected
Meaning:
The lift is not plugged into a power outlet, or the power supply has been disconnected.

Solution:
Connect the lift to a power outlet. In the event of a power failure, the lift must be switched off by activating the emergency stop button. Contact your service technician if the lift is connected to a working power outlet and the alarm continues to sound.
