At the cozy Japanese restaurant Men-O Ramen in Copenhagen, people meet to enjoy the many tasty Japanese dishes. The restaurant is often visited by larger companies. Guests can enter the upper level of the restaurant through a narrow passage and access several dining tables. However, a narrow passage like that makes it almost impossible to fit both a staircase and a ramp or lifting platform.

Accessibility

The accessibility to the upper level has therefore been solved by installing a 2-in-1 FlexStep staircase. FlexStep works both as a regular staircase and as a lift for wheelchair users. It is thus very space-saving, and now ensures access to the upper level.
