In the heart of Oslo, you will find the karaoke bar SYNG. "Come as you are and suddenly the world feels a little bit better for everyone" - this is what SYNG promises on their website.
To meet the above vision and to ensure complete accessibility, the owner of the karaoke bar contacted Liftup’s Norwegian distributor, TKS Heis and chose to get a FlexStep from Liftup installed. The FlexStep enables everybody, including wheelchair users and persons with impaired walking, ability to safely enter the bar. The FlexStep proved to be the best solution, as it was impossible to install both a staircase and a lifting platform in the narrow corridor.
It was important to the owner of the karaoke bar that the new lift solution was well-fitted into the environment. To match the atmosphere of the bar the FlexStep is painted pink, just like the rest of the bar and the lifting platform therefore appears elegantly integrated in the room.
